Each Soundware XS speaker has a ½" tweeter and 2-1/2" woofer (yes, it is a true 2-way speaker). multi-angles Speakers sit or mount at almost any angle. Like Sound ware’s larger cousins, these Speakers can be placed on a table, shelf or even on the floor in a variety of positions. The Boston Acoustics SoundWare XS Satellite Speaker Special Edition (High-Gloss Black) can be used as a replacement speaker for the SoundWare XS 5.1 Special Edition Surround Speaker System or it can be used to expand the system to a 6.1 or 7.1 system. The speakers are about 4 x 4 x 4 1/2 inches in size. And their unique shape and included articulating mounting brackets mean you can place them almost anywhere, at almost any angle. Despite their petite form, each satellite speaker contains a 1/2 inch dome tweeter and a 2 1/2 inch mid-bass. And they're magnetically shielded so they won't interfere with TVs, monitors and other electronic devices.
